New here and wondered if anyone can help, i've tried doing it on my own but really struggling, i've managed to change the LNB as the model is old and can't get support from tracvision because the model is no longer supported. I can change the :LNB if i need to but i want to first check everything is working. I've connected to the serial poirt on my board and used hyperxterminal and can see the satelite being searched for are astra 1 and hotwire, i know this needs to be changed to Astra 28.2E for freesat but cant find the information to manually edit the satelites. I can add custom user satelites x 2 and have sucessfully got to this step, but its asking me for certain info that i cannot seem to obtain myself with a weeks worth of google searching i'm at a loss and need help, its currently asking for the following information on the satelite in order to pin point it.
Longtitude
East or West
decoding type (0 = test, 1 = DSS-A, 2 = DSS-B, 3 = DVB )
frequency in MHz (either 00000 or a range from 10700 - 12700)
the satellite transponder symbol rate in Mbit/second (01000 - 29999)
the FEC code (e.g., 12, 23, 34, 56, 67, 78)
the satellite network ID in hexadecimal format (0x####)
the LNB polarization (v = vertical, h = horizontal, r = right, l = left)
the LNB down conversion frequency (l = low, h = high, u = USA)

Your biggest issue will be that many transponders are converting to DVB-S2 which I don't think your Tracvision supports. However for the moment there are still DVB-S transmissions, the parameters for which can be found on Lyngsat and Flysat. Only UK or Europe beam transponders will work.

For example:
Longitude: 28.2
East or West: East
Decoding type: 3 DVB
Frequency: 11426
Symbol Rate: 27500
FEC: 23
Network ID: 0x0002 (maybe 0020)
Polarisation: H
LNB down conversion freq: L (9750)

What LNB are you using?

After some more digging i can program the already installed satelites to this
ASTRA2N 28.2ºE ASTRA2N ASTRA2S 28.2ºE ASTRA2S
If i was to do it manually the Frequency needs to be both the Horizontal Hight, and the Vertical High, is the frequency the same for both? As i have no clue how to read the link you just sent me

Both will presumably have to be active transponders, and a quick look suggests there are no active DVB-S transponders in the horizontal high band (high band is usually above 11700MHz). There's no guarantee the vertical high transponders will stay as DVB-S either. If you can't enter low band transponders then you may be stuck.

What LNB are you using?

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

The "Trackvison-R45I" was originally meant to be used on US based satellites from either Dish-network, Bell Expressview or Direct TV receivers, it got it's pointing information from these type of receivers when a "Switch Check" was done.

It was originally used on the 110W, 119W and 129W satellites in the US and Canada, I don't think it will work in the UK or other places outside of the continental US or Canada unless you can change it's internal software..

KVH is the manufacture of these type of mobile RV antennas, it lists the following receiver's as certified for use with it's R45I system, Direct TV # H21-200, H20-600, D10, D11,D12, Dishnetwork # 211,211K, 311, Bell Expressview # 3100, 6100.

Now none of the receivers listed are usable on the satellites your looking for.
