I would say 1.2m going to 1.5m for the weaker ones.

Have 1.2m dish, can't get signal for feeds say 11.124 h Racing
Getting RMG Dubai HD on that transponder using a 1.2m Channel Master in cloudy north east England.

Probably need bigger as I'm in the Midlands in Ireland

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Here is a series of footprint maps of 7E, it is an active map so all you do is select the beam for the transponder your looking for and zoom into your location, then click on it, it will give you an estimated dish size needed for a suitable and stable signal.


If you note, there are multiple beams on that series of satellites, just scroll to the end of the list at the top and select the Europe beam.

One thing to watch though is broadcast channels tend to be be broadcast at a higher power than feeds, so dish size sites can be a bit misleading.
