Hello Members ,

Want to install my dish here too (up site down).
Do I have to turn the mounting on the back of the dish 180 degrees?!
It is a Gregorian Dish.

What model of dish ?

Why do you think inverting is going to make an improvement with reception ?

It is a Delta Star 90 cm. I'm doing an experiment, and then you would say, find out for yourself.

I'm at 60N and tried my dish upside down, because of the low pointing angle, but it filled with snow.

If it's a prime focus dish (LNB mounted in the center) then it doesn't matter if it's mounted up-side-down, (or sideways even) if it's an offset focus dish (LNB mounted at the bottom) then you may run into problems with water getting into the LNB coax ports.

And depending on how the dish is mounted to the mast then you may have to flip the mount around.

A Gregorian would - normally - define an offset dish, the prime focus equivalent would be Cassegrain.

A picture of a Delta 90 might be useful since the o/p has made major errors previously in describing their objective.

Just mount the whole lot upside down on a pole and give it a go.

The problem with mounting a dish up side down, is that you will have to turn the TV up side down to see the picture.

Don't joke like that. It might be taken seriously by some.
