The fix that got the new motor working again (pressing the manual East and West buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds) did not work with the old motor. However, it appears that the local guy was right, he said the problem was that a West limit had been set with the dish pointing at 28E, because when I selected Disable Limits all was good, the motor once gain started turning westward as it should.I may have wasted money for a new motor but I learned something and now have a spare motor.Thanks to all for the help!</blockquote>
