Looks like a gregorian type cm 1.8m or even prodelin?
Nope, they do not install 1,8m antennas on top of the vans. It is certainly 1,2m.

Remember, I had modified one INOX wall antenna holder? So, presented it to friend of mine and already installed to her wall. Triax 110 will go there for Astra 4 (Ex Sirius) reception. Twin LNB for twin-tuner Viasat receiver.

Installed and tuned Triax 110cm. I have never experienced new but faulty LNB before. This Twin, which came as a Viasat package was first one! Only one output is working. Very strange! Anyway, dish is installed and owner is happy, but still has to resolve faulty LNB issue.

Are you over here now Rimants ?, in Sheffield its mainly sky dishes, but there are certain parts of the city we have Asian communities and you will see bigger dishes around these areas, my next door neighbour is polish he laughs at me and my dishes, he has a 80cm pointed at 13E:)

I was on one nice roof today. Nice, cuz there are lots of antennas installed IMG_20151102_152616 (Custom).jpg . But reason was to help friend of mine to tune his new Laminas 2,7 m and, potentially, catch Turksat 4A @42*E. We did not succeed, and several reasons for that, such as: according to coverage zones at least 3 meters (maybe even bigger) dish is needed. Secondly, after we made string test there was almost 1 cm gap. We eliminated gap later, but that did not help. I also suspect that when they assembled antenna it was face-down on not very flat surface. I've made antenna's measurements and they are 2710mm x 3015 mm and depth 275mm. Did not have possibility to check whether LNB is in focus and is it looking at the proper point on the surface of the dish.

Apart from all the nice stuff up there...
I see lots of white cabling.
I have learnt, by now, that PE sheathing is the only way to go for *outdoor* cables.
And Poly-Ethylene tends to be manufactured as *black or grey*, not white.
If you get another chance on the roof, can you check the cables, just out of curiosity, and see if they will last (PE), or if they will degrade in a few years to render all the large nice dishes useless?

Do you remeber

Hi, me and the wife had a run out this morning, there used to be a few dishes here but down to one now, I think its something to do with virgin media.

It quite high above sea level here surely cant be good for reception on a morning like this, I would love to go mobile up here with a 1.8 on a nice day:).

It looks very much like the one near the crematorium at Grenoside.
