Spotted this Penta 68 with 'Meo' branding whilst on holiday in Madeira. There were loads of smallish Cabo and Meo dishes but this was the only one I noticed that wasn't a standard offset dish.

Cool pic. I Have never seen a Meo "Penta dish version" one here in Portugal. Only standard offset. Must be a custom owner-sticked.the-Meo-logo, or, the dealer ran out of offset dishes and supplied him with a Penta.

Nice dish. I've never seen a Meo dish before. For me, the quality it much more important. As it seems in ME we have the war of pharasithes. If I can get more channels in better quality, why not!!

Well I wasn't allowed to spend time looking at Dishes during the past two weeks in France, around the Charente-Poitou area, but can you believe the state of the Hire Car they gave us?

Better saying that we are not allowed spending times and time to see what’s new in the sat technology, ‘coz for the people living in the countries where there are no legal shops and representatives of canals and ... these things are banned, what should they do. The last hope for self upgrade are the sites and to see the photos you put.

Ive just returned from a lovely peaceful 2 weeks wandering around the Pyrenean mountains. For your enjoyment heres a selection of pictures from Andorra :D

First up heres an interesting building located in La Massana. Its either something to do with the Andorra Telecom operator or a cable head end The big dish on the roof appeared to be looking out west so was probably picking up Hispasat 30W.

Various shots from around the area.

Pic 1 - Nice large balconies give you the opportunity to fit your own dish and still have room to enjoy the sun

Pic 2 - I spy with my little eye an oval dish that looks remarkable like a Sky minidish :D

Pic 3 - Lots of tv and radio viewing hardware on the roof!

Pic 4 - a nice prime focus and a couple of ofsetts on a hotel in Arinsal

Either:

I get time off for good behaviour! :-rofl2

Or possibly the rest of the staff get fed up of my eternally chirpy and good natured banter and tell me to go away for a couple of weeks :D

Interestingly in our hotel most of the tv channels were from analogue transmissions :D (when we had thunderstorms the pictures dissolved into the fondly remembered sparklie mess)

The only English language services were CNN, Eurosport (very poor as the receiver seemed to be on the way out) and MTV Europe.

For the French visitors the main PSB channels on 5W were all there, the Germans had a right mixture of stuff.

The Spanish channels may have been DTT transmissions as there were a few in there I didnt recognise from satellite.

ATV was the solitary Andorran channel - it carries tourist promos of the countryside in the afternoon :D

The easiest way to get into Andorra - no pesky customs formalities. :-lmao

This is the Andorran - Spanish border high above the ski resort of Pal. Its an old smugglers route, and the road on the Spanish side (over to the right) is hellish rough - really only suitable for 4x4's
