Nope, they do not install 1,8m antennas on top of the vans. It is certainly 1,2m.Looks like a gregorian type cm 1.8m or even prodelin?

Hey, English! Did not see any interesting dishes to take pictures of except this one View attachment 85897 Majority of houses have only small sk* ones installed. Is that only in London?
is that safe to go to those areas at night time? ;)but there are certain parts of the city we have Asian communities and you will see bigger dishes around these areas

. But reason was to help friend of mine to tune his new Laminas 2,7 m and, potentially, catch Turksat 4A @42*E. We did not succeed, and several reasons for that, such as: according to coverage zones at least 3 meters (maybe even bigger) dish is needed. Secondly, after we made string test there was almost 1 cm gap. We eliminated gap later, but that did not help. I also suspect that when they assembled antenna it was face-down on not very flat surface. I've made antenna's measurements and they are 2710mm x 3015 mm and depth 275mm. Did not have possibility to check whether LNB is in focus and is it looking at the proper point on the surface of the dish.Apart from all the nice stuff up there...I was on one nice roof today. Nice, cuz there are lots of antennas installed View attachment 87054 . But reason was to help friend of mine to tune his new Laminas 2,7 m and, potentially, catch Turksat 4A @42*E. It looks very much like the one near the crematorium at Grenoside.Hi, me and the wife had a run out this morning, there used to be a few dishes here but down to one now, I think its something to do with virgin media.
It quite high above sea level here surely cant be good for reception on a morning like this, I would love to go mobile up here with a 1.8 on a nice day.
