Do UK subscriptions work outside UK?

I have a monoblock LNB which i presume looks at Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13E. My decoder is a HUMAX with a CAM AstonCrypt V1.05.

If I subscribe to SKY and take deliver of the subscription card at my sisters UK address, then have the card sent to my address in Europe, will Sky function properly and will I receive the channels I have subscribed to.

Any response would be appreciated.

Yes it will work properly in Europe so long as you have a sky digibox and your dish is pointing at 28E.You cant use it in your Humax as it is not a videoguard decoder.Make sure that if you ring sky from abroad to activate the card that you use a mobile phone or have your sister activate it from UK.Sky log all calls so if they see a foreign tel number they wont activate the card.
