No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

I use the Weather Underground app on my phone, they've ballsed up their website so can't stand using that, but the app has remained the same so is nice enough to use, and they seem relatively accurate with regards to weather predictions... :)

Whether you want it to stay or not depends upon the weather

I suspect Israel weather is much easier to predict than UK.

I rely on BBC's weather widget on my phone. It comes from the Met Office, which I found to be the most accurate representation of what might happen outside...

That's true.
Here is the weather forecast for the Tel Aviv Area
Monday - Sunday : Very Hot but there is a chance it could get hot.
Rain: In your dreams
Snow: When pigs can fly
Winds: Better Check with your GP
Humidity : Your body will generate enough water to fill the kettle.

Quite like WU. They get it right fairly often.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC

I use accuweather, but it's a calculated weather for my location as all sites use the local airports as a source for data, nearest airport to me is 35 miles away, and they have to fudge the numbers, I manly use it for the forecast maps and radar.

So I installed a professional weather station and run my own weather site, and supply that data to the locals on my own web site.

Today we celebrate Sukkot - The Harvest Festival.
The weather people have predicted rain today (they predicted rain since last week but not a drop so far).
Rain on this day is as important as having a white Christmas.
But I doubt if it will rain during the night.
The important thing is that these people get their fat salaries and predict nothing of importance in return.
I rely on Acuweather they have been accurate enough.

This summer Ive found the Met Office site to have got incredibly inaccurate - numerous times the site is saying less than 5% chance of rain here and when I look outside - yup its raining.

No chance of not having rain here so we build our Sukkah with a perspex roof, can still see the stars, well could if there was no rain and cloud
