Do you know if the Dreambox 500 can read/write MPEG2 streams via NFS on a remote pc?
Is there any image that enables "Recording" and "Playback"?
(does that appear on the menu? like in the 7000?
Is it possible to browse the recordings (via NFS) on a remote pc?

thanks!
:)

You should be able to mount a remote drive, haven't tried or used the function though, as I have the 7000s with HD.

yes.. I know... :)
but I was refering to the fact of having it avaliable in the menu...
something like: "press blue, then red", and the 500 starts recording on a NFS drive... or "Press blue, then yellow" and the 500 displays a list of recordings in NFS.. and if I press up/down and ok, it starts playback....

If anyone knows about this, then please let me know,

thanks.
