Dump1090 Mutability 1.15

With the change in google maps policy regarding api use I have added bing maps to Dump1090.



I didn’t add it personally I just added my existing api key.

I did this to add the key in

cd /usr/share/dump1090-mutability/html/

sudo nano config.js

The bing maps api location is right at the bottom of the config page.

Save it with ctrl + x, and yes.

You pop the api key in right at the very bottom, it has a section for you to add it.

I also added heywhatsthat panorama, I still have some more tweaks to do.

My personal favourite is the message rate at the top of the browser not visible via iPhone browser, it needs a pc to be able to view the rate.



I want to sort the clocks out next.

Does anyone know if dump1090 can handle two dongles? Or will I need to run multiple instances of Dump1090

A little tip I have just found out about.

If your dongle is getting overloaded then reduce the gain to -10

I did this to my Pi yesterday and been watching it since, the old saying is true I am seeing more aircraft on the map.

Sometimes less is more!

Hi...I have followed the installation description and modifications on the first page. Somehow it seems to have everything been fine, and the Raspi is feeding to the various sites, but when I browse locally to the IP-address/dump1090/gmap.html I just get an eternal waiting symbol.

Hi there CS, welcome to the forum. Most of us dont use the dump-1090 browser - we use Virtual Radar Server (free download) You get much nicer graphics, and can join our small forum data sharing ring if you so wish.

When you say "feeding sites" are you sending data to 360-Radar?
