Hi S band well never had any problems with know were the dish was pointed at . I tell a lie about 10 years ago the magnets had to be changed out on the jack because it was not working but its been fine ever since . My main problem at the moment is finding dealers in the UK who deal with big dish installes as most people I knew have gone . But while we have this lock in I will do some maintenance starting with changing out the good old Echostar ad-3000ip Viaaccess since it would seem that every thing now is MPEG-4 and as you know the 3000IP is only good for MPEG-2 . But it would seem that since there is no requirement in the UK all I can find are receivers with no jack and skew control . I am sure someone in europe must stock them . Looks like your into 10/24GHz EME I have never had a play with EME the best I have done has been 23 cms ATV . Wow just seen whats on your link ( Absolute Optical Shaft Encoder ) I dont think I would need that for Ku/C band as most times the jack is spot on or I have use the Sat Look for any fine tuning . I know how you feel John I cant even remember how to reture the receiver I had to find the manual a far cry from 25 years ago down loading the d2mac codes into my dragon cam for watching TV1000 .
