To give better access I have found it best to turn the dish to about 60 east but I will still need some thing to stand on to reach the support rod that come from the 12 o clock postion you have the others at 8 + 4 o clock those should be no problem to reach but after 30 years I bet there going to be seized up but first thing is disconnect both LNBs + Skew control then remove from the support rod band then use lots of WD40 other wise I think its best to use the dremel to cut the nuts from the rear of the reflector as I have access there to all 3 rods . But your rights lot + lots of WD40 . The old LNB is working and giving a 80-85% signal on encrypted D2Mac channels I cant decode them but the signal is very strong . As far as finding a replacement Ku LNB I have found this one for £250 . I do not want to move the dish off the polar mount as it was a bugger to set and a very tight beam on Ku band , C band is ok nice and wide . As for the 36 inch Thomson Saginaw Actuator that just need rubbing down or use the dremel I did find a local spares dealer for thoses in the UK . It a pity none of you guys live local as I might need a help but I hope it should be straight forward " I hope " Well it took me 10 months to do all the maintenance on the tower but I hope I finish this before winter as while the arms are off I clean the dish up and respray it then the rest should fall into place . Thanks again CH + J01for the feed back
