Embedded Cam Software Query

My neighbour has a humax receiver with an embedded
Viaccess CAM. Is it likely that this will run a 6 in one card
or does he need to use a separate cam/slot for that?

He also has a rather nice motor driven dish so it seems a pity
not to use it to the full!

Most recievers now have card slots and cam slots.....although I have a MR cam I dont use it much I find that the recievers embedded cam works well with a fun6 card.

I suppose the question i was hinting at should have been
could you reprogram the viaccess slot with Pentacrypt without
buying a separate CAM?

Well if your reciever is limited to Viaccess....it would be wiser to purchase a cam! ;-)
