Embedded cams or just patches??

Hi

I'm looking to purchase a new receiver probably Technomate 5400CI,
some online suppliers offer these machines with inbuilt CAMS some that come fully patched with memory stick full of instructions of how and where to patch.
If a fully patched machine allows access anyway is there any advantage in buying a machine with 5 inbuilt CAMS. Are there specific patches for each CAM. I'm not really sure.

Welcome to the forum mate.Personally I would go with a seperate cam as they can be upgraded easier.The diablo has the best support just now,so why not go for a cheaper box and a cam?There's less to go wrong IMHO.Good luck.
