Tests of Bowei BP-180 LNB designed for a frequency range 10 -10700 MHz.

Do not pay any attention to S/N value as this is ATV transmission and as far as Peon was doing tests on Sunday morning, the value was jumping up and down.
This test was mainly to show that the LNB for this sub Ku band (10-10700 MHz) is out there, is available for a reliable price and it really works.

A test of the 10492H TP using the updateDVB spectrum scanner in Linux. The frequency is easily scanned in - I was thinking I might have needed to use a frequency shifter, or having to extend the IF range (not certain where to find the means to do that in the application anyway, so just as well).

Just to add, the TBS 6925 starts at 10550 MHz (IF 800 MHz) as well.
And the upper limit is at 13100 MHz (IF 2500 MHz).

Tested "few" boxes.. 10493H 2000 worked in only one, Revez HDS605 (110cm + IBU)

Currently 10850H 27500 6.8db and 11350H 30000 4.2db (3m + SF8008)

There was preperation a long time ago from the radio amateurs side for this satellite.
They were preparing staff for transmission of their TV channels and as you can see it is a really good stuff!
I may say that we (satellite enthusiast) can always see only our side of the moon, but this is how a dark side of the moon looks like.

I think there`s no need to hide anymore where to buy it as progress can not be stopped.

If Peon finds time during weekend, he`ll make some tests of this lnb in real life situation when receiving Es`hail 2 with a small offset dish.

Hello from the other side ! So guys will my 1m dish and that lnb from aliexpress get me Eshail without much hassle ?!

It should do - Ive seen one report of someone getting it without a dish by holding an lnb pointing at the satellite! (on the rtl-sdr website) You might even get away with a normal lnb to start with.

Although this is so new we are still exploring the boundaries of whats possible

I purchased this LNB for 10.10.7 and I have a question will it work with diseqc and how to setup the receiver setting - to 9750 or ? Thanks !
