How does his signal compare to A71A John? Could be my 1.2 is too small for most uplinkers. May have to fabricate a a new Ku feed for the 1.8 if that is the case.

When A71A was up on 10492 H it runs at about 12dB with slight variations on the Promax, 10.497 H locks at about 7dB on the Promax for the ON4 BHM transmissions. Iv'e not managed to get CS to perform as yet - even with the suggested ver of CS and the suggested Streamreader so just using the Promax with the BBC converter. Using my Gibby 1.2 with standard out of the box Octagon pll lnb Paul.

M0DTS.
10495H DVB-2 8PSK SR 500 Ks FEC 2/3
~7dB.

No problem Ross :)

There was preperation a long time ago from the radio amateurs side for this satellite.
They were preparing staff for transmission of their TV channels and as you can see it is a really good stuff!
I may say that we (satellite enthusiast) can always see only our side of the moon, but this is how a dark side of the moon looks like.

By the way if you are interested in the 10-10.7 GHz LNB, here is the link: Bowei BT-180 LNB
I think there`s no need to hide anymore where to buy it as progress can not be stopped.

If Peon finds time during weekend, he`ll make some tests of this lnb in real life situation when receiving Es`hail 2 with a small offset dish.

Is this a PLL LNB?

Guy just put in another appearance with possibly the untidiest shack I've ever seen on ATV, thought he may of cleaned up a bit for a global audience.

Here's a tidier bit from outside.

Anyone had luck with the various RB-TV uplinks today? My cards won't lock any of them but I'm not surprised, the wideband video has quite a bit of jitter on it and I can see some errors even though the BER is often 0, is this likely to be the card not liking the narrow bandwidth or stability/noise issues in the LNB?

I'm back on the Inverto because the cheapy supposed PLL LNB I got is no better than the Inverto, plan now is to add it to the 1M Gib multiLNB so I can have a fixed system for Es'Hail.

Is this a PLL LNB?

No, it is a DRO lnb. Tech specification says: STABILITY ±2 MHz(-40 °C- +70 °C)
The price is as it is probably because it is not very common LNB, but it is the same price we paid back in 2016. So not too bad then.

With this LO stability? o_O :-rofl2

If this is the model...

It ain`t that one. It must be a Chinese counterfeit as there is no original sticker on it, only handwritig as far as I can see.:-lmao
For original part visit Bowei BT-180 LNB .
I think nobody will mind if I give a link to a manufacturer/seller I bougt it from. Didn`t do it a few days ago, but this satellite brings lots of fun and fresh enthusiasm in our hobby that is really, really needed.

Peon is going to put it into action on Sunday....

I've only seen the fixed TP on 10492H today. I haven't had the chance to check regularly, so probably missed any activity.
