Hello all,

Why is it that if I manually scan Hotbird for Euronews on 12597v, it's still in English when it should be French! I am based in the UK if that makes any difference. Thanks!

You need to change the language with your remote, or go into channel edit and add the French audio PID 2231.

You don't say what your receiver is, but it may be even simpler than rolfw says..

For example my box just has an 'Audio' button on the remote that you can press to select the language. It's broadcast on Hotbird in about 8 languages I think!! :)

Thanks for the replies! I have a Fortec Star Passion and it does have the Audio button you speak of! Even on the UK Euronews I can select lots of different languages. Thanks for all your help :)

I never knew this was possible, as France 24 for example does have seperate English and French speaking versions.
