Just arrived in Canada only to find that the stuff they have locally on TV here isn't of much interest to me

Wondering if there's any FTA stuff available with a footprint that covers the Atlantic Province of Nova Scotia ?

Is there any FTA from either the UK or the US that I can get here ?

You can forget anything direct from Europe - none of the main satellites fires anywhere near Canada.

Have a trawl through this page:

once you click on one of the sat orbits you get the beams over on the right side of the page and you can see if anything covers your location. Any channels in pale yellow are fta.

Thanks for the links to Lingsat, haven't seen them for years, they are a great resource.

I know that the footprints don't stretch this way but some of the US birds do carry the BBC stuff, can't find ITV though, no percieved demand for it, but I wish I had the Rights to bring it into Canada and the US, there's millions of folks who would pay to have the UK broadcasters available to them.
