Formula One racing's governing body, the FIA, has released a confirmed calendar for the 2012 world championship. The addition of the United States Grand Prix makes for a 21-race season - one more round than in 2011 and the longest in F1 history. The Bahrain event will kick off proceedings on March 11, followed by the Australian, Malaysian, Chinese and Korean rounds. The championship then heads to Europe for May's Turkish race, although the Istanbul Park event is the only round on the calendar still subject to confirmation.
