After much controversy over the Silverstone weekend, the FIA confirmed on Thursday that the changes to regulations governing the off-throttle use of blown diffusers introduced for the British race have been dropped for the remainder of the season.The changes limited teams to a 10 percent throttle opening under braking, but following concerns that varying engine designs placed some teams at a disadvantage relative to others, the FIA offered to reverse the change if all teams could agree on the matter
