2330 will see the plugs pulled at Brougher Mountain, Limavady, Divis & their associated relays. By tomorrow afternoon the whole of the UK will only have Freeview - its just under 4 years since the Borders led the way when Selkirk was switched off in Nov 2008!

Sadly the end of analogue also means the loss of Ceefax after 38 years on air.

There is a special programme simulcast on BBC 1 Northern Ireland & UTV to mark the 60th anniversary of tv broadcasting in NI & the end of analogue.

Its called The Magic Box & is on at 2235

Ive looked at the digital text service via satellite maybe half a dozen times since we DSO'd in Nov 2008 - its just FAR too slow to be of any use.

No dtt here - I took the aerial down because I couldnt get a decent signal off Selkirk here.
