In the old house I was finding some sites were taking 6 or 7 seconds per page to load. It turned out the slowness was caused by dozens of remote scripts being exectuted - mainly to serve adverts. Plus Youtube got almost unwatchable with multiple pre roll adverts, then mid roll adverts were the last straw. At that point I went nuclear in the war against ads. There are very very few sites I allow adverts onto nowadays - this forum being one of them. The ad slingers have screwed themselves over with their greed - stuff them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
