How much money do you want to spend?? The best subscription packages for football are getting on for a thousand beer tokens a year!

the diema channels on 16e or 39e seems good value for viewing games no english audio though but they do show 3pm games and the midweek ones

the best ones sky italia and c+ 1west are quite a lot per year

I want to spend as little as possible, i bought the satellite as a replacement for Sky so looking to save money in the longterm.
I have seen cams on ebay but don't understand what they are and how they work?

Without a subscription card they dont do anything - the cam is the electronic box of tricks that read the subscription card.

Some modern cams decrypt more than one encryption type.

Certain cams can also decrypt some pay tv services with modified software loaded onto them. (Only 1W these days)

I take it there are many different encription types and you choose the cam to suit the channels which you want to recieve.

How do you find out the encryption on the channels you want?
Im still unsure about the card which should be choosen?

i have canal sport on 1 west... No complaints, they play nearly every premier game on sat and sun or mon ( give or take one or two) so i get to watch my side EVERTON play every sat or sun afternoon live from my lounge.. Not cheap though but if you like footy well worth it..

Once you know which satellite your selected channel is transmitted on got to
_http://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html, select the satellite then find the correct channel and read the details regarding encryption

Decide

1) Which package you want
2) which satellite you want to receiver it off

This will give you the encryptionof the package. Only THEN can you decide

3) which cam you are likely to need.

However should you decide on Sky Italia or Sky Germany the you are advised to take the official receiver as well.

DigitAlb no longer show Saturday 3PM football games, or at least they haven't for some time, since they were threatened and stopped from doing so.
There are some new developments coming soon, with a new Diablo 2 cam expected to be released and rumours that Viacess 3 encryption has been cracked.
Of course these are not guaranteed to give long term viewing options but sometimes they provide quite a lot of open channels.
For the moment we still have Digi TV open, 1 West, which covers quite a few EPL games.

If thinking about using Cams, or cards, like the Diablo 2, or Gamma card, then you will need a programmer. I recommend a Cas 3 as this can program both cams and cards.

One more thing with DigitAlb is that you wont be able to view the HD channels without one of their official receivers.

Much of the time you require both. (Unless your receiver has a suitable cam built into it to read the particular card you buy).

Decide which sub you are going to buy and we will tell you what extra bits you are likley to need (if anything)
