Since it was claimed there would also be a category for driverless cars in F-E

Are F1 racers about to lose out to driverless cars?

I would consider watching when they introduce driverless teams onto the grid, robocars will be competitive in no more than a couple of years.

The days of the human behind the wheel has been numbered for a while, only the current regulations/restrictions delay the inevitable. Two wheels will follow shortly.

So, are we to expect a bike-riding CH simulacrum anytime soon???:-wow

All it requires is for Arnie to travel back through time , et voila !

Machine guns optional, for now.

... Have to wonder why they bothered! They showed the first race live, but on Red button. This time it's live on IPlayer and website, and replayed on Red button later.

From the point of view of FormulaE management, trying to build a world wide following, you'd think they'd be almost paying people to watch it instead on making it so 'king difficult.

OK, not, exactly difficult, but you have to know it's on and then have to search to find ways of seeing it.

I was referring to Murray Walker however yes you are almost correct but Andy Murray is a multi millionaire, he has guaranteed celebrity status no doubt a commentating job for life in either the UK or USA so I will not be feeling too sorry for him but of course it is sad to see a champion probably have to retire through injury

I feel sorry for the horses, I don't think they will get much glue out of Murray though.

Have just been chauffeured 30 miles in an all electric BMW I3, was very quiet but of course does not have a straight cut gears, but with a range of 120 miles before topup, battery capacity has to improve before a town runabout becomes a viable means of motorway travel

120 miles - christ thats ok for townies but useless for round here - 120 mile capacity wouuld disappear rapidly when having to defrost the winscreen on a -10C morning...

And if I decided to visit my parents in one Id barely make it down to my bff house in Carnforth before the battery was flat....

Oh you cannot get 120 miles if running a fan, lights and/or aircon you are looking at 60-80 tops
