Fortec Star HD passion Plus will not load firmware updates past v1.07

Hi, Fortec Star HD passion Plus :- have loader at v1.5 and updated firmware to 1.07 cant get past this firmware update. tried loading v1.10, v1.23, & 1.26 but all starts loading ok but it gets to 65-69% complete and then the screen goes black and reboots to show file 1 and sticks in this position, Can anyone help please.

I have tried a factory reset, reloading loader v1.5. To load new firmware I go through s/w updates and ok, ok, but this now fails and returns to previous settings loader v1.5 and firmware v1.07.

firmware v1.07 loaded fine with no problems... system showed "good", rebooted and it was there in system information !

Anyway around this problem please.

I ave the same problem with the Fortec Star HD passion Plus will not load firmware updates past v1.07ne
I purchased it form Maplin Aug 2010 (my second)

I already own a Passion HD + and had no problem updating the firmware to V127 on this . The only reason I bought the second unit is because the V127 upgrade is really good with a proper EPG and recording

Did anyone find a cure for this? Mine appears to be stuck too!
