..Been a while since I powered up the TBS card ..but had to have a go at grabbing something from the Fox News transponder

The F15 sees this ok ..but cannot lock anything ..signal levels good

So turned to the versatile TBS6925
I can't get the stream analysed with CrazyscanTLS ..but it does lock ok and provide transponder data..and since the stream wont analyse ..I cant call TS reader ..
Thus no captures..
So turned to Transedit ..using the same transponder data plus TBS card..
Sure enough it was possible to analyse the stream and preview the video ..sadly not the AAC audio though ..
..so far that is ..
I'm going to see if DVBviewer can handle this mix ..

If anyone has more info on viewing these Fox links I'm all ears..

..Yep ..no probs for DVBViewer ...
scanned and locked in as Service 1 ...and with AAC sound..
Pity the F15 can't achieve this ..
the TBS card proves it's worth ..yet again.

Hmmm...
The official footprint map just adds to my confusion ..
Fox News is broacast on the Global beam ...which if the footprint map is to be believed shows the UK coverage at less than 33dbw ..
In short I should need a dish in excess of 4 mtrs ...
..and yet the F15 ..though cannot lock the transponder is showing 4.5db..
Something doesn't add up...yet there it is.

Ahhh...looks like Lyngsat directs me to the wrong map ...definately not NSS12
so wrong map uploaded..
Do we have the correct one anywhere ?
