The French motorsport federation, the FFSA, has said it is determined there will be a French Grand Prix in 2008, despite previously ruling out next year's race returning to Magny-Cours, the rural venue that has hosted the event since 1991.
Back in March, the FFSA suspended the inscription of the race on the 2008 calendar as it felt that ?the conditions of a successful event? could not be guaranteed. However, on Friday it said it is now looking for possible venues for next season.
