Don't know if this has been covered, I did a quick search.

I'm thinking of buying a Sky HD box. Do you think in the long term all the freesat HD channels will all be available to Sky subscribers? I've currently just got the std subscription & planned on just buying the HD box off the net. I want the optical output & recording also.

Thanks

No idea I'm afraid, most probably will, but they could also go the same route as ITV HD, where you either need a Freesat box, or a receiver with a little more user control.
