Does anyone know of a PVR which can record from BOTH Freeview and Freesat, please?

It doesn't exist.

The closest would the Fortecstar Passion + which, I believe, has a terrestrial tuner and can access the Freesat EPG through a programming bodge. It only has a single satellite tuner though.TV

The Passion+ only has a single satellite tuner, and can access the Freesat EPG with the latest firmware.

It doesnt have a terrrestrial tuner.

Ah, thanks for that. I don't have one and was relying on all too fallible memory.

In that case there isn't even a close fit to the request!

Well apart from the ability to record "Dave", there isn't much point as most of the Channels are common to both Platforms.

Actually, on second thought, there is absolutely no point as who would want to record "Dave" anyway?!

There's also Fiver and Five USA which are not available on the Freesat platform (yet!) and History.

Thanks Guys - I did not think there would be. Panasonic TV's can receive both, but their Recorders only do one or the other. Just wanted to see if I could get rid of the VCR if I purchased a PVR. Clearly not.

"Yesterday" is another Freeview only channel. I'm not paying Sky just to get it via satelitte!

There are some terrestrial Freeview PVRs that can record from an external source - Sony certainly used to do them - so you could set it up to record from the AV signal out of your Freesat TV. It would tie everything up at once, of course, so it wouldn't be very flexible but it would suffice if you were going out for the evening. It also wouldn't record in HD from the AV out.
