hi guys.
im wanting to buy a freeview box.
i need it to have a twin tuner and atleast an 80gb hd.
it would be nice if it sent a output signal via the rf lead (i dont have enough scart sockets on my tv).
ive had a look in argos and theres a few available, comet also do a few.
im really just wanting to know if youve got a decent one and would you recommend it? or do you have a lemon?

cheers guys

Hi doggy I am also looking for a freeview box so please let me know how you get on.

However this is a forum for satellite systems and not for freeview stuff so dont be suprised if your thread gets deleted.

This section is OK whatsthis, as it is specifically for Terrestrial digital. :)

Most of the currently available Freeview receivers do not have RF out, merely a loopthrough. If you buy one with two scart sockets, then you can loop another device through it, so you shouldn't need the RF out anyway.

There are a few here

Or there is the Topfield with a massive 250GB drive.

No, the tuner is different, as is the processing.

Here is a combined satellite and terrestrial receiver.

Our house doesn't even have an arial yet. So my first question on freeview boxes is do I need to get an arial specifically for digital or do all arials work now with digital?
