Something for the specialist guessers, 5w 11591, 9e 12034, FTA continuing after the general French change to HD ?

Maybe time to look for a Fransat (or alternative) receiver\card, or anyone got a Fransat HD CI+ working in a VU+ ?

Thanks

11591 on 5°W will be continuing (same parameters) but carrying France 2 HD, France 3 Sat HD, France 4 HD, and France Ô HD, as it'll still be the feed for the DVB-T transmitter network in France (as well as for Fransat).

I'd imagine 9°E will stay as it is too as these are feeds for Swiss cable, not France.

You can use a Fransat card in a Linux box, I don't know about CI+ but you should be able to use it in the receiver's own card reader using OSCam (but you'll need to find the correct AES Keys, they're possible to find if you search online).

Thanks for info. Looks ok then, but 5 seems to be going away.

Was wondering if the vu+ would accept the official ci with no fuzz (recording etc working), like this one:
sedea-module-ci-13-hd.jpg

which, in case of losing any channels after april 5, would be prefered over cam\keys or getting yet another box.

Looks like the last few days of 5 here, all the rest seems to be continuing fine using a combination of 9e and 5w.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Unfortunately the word 'clear' could mean Free to Air, or Free to View.

As far as I understand it everything will remain as Adam792 described it above.

No the official Fransat CAM and card does not work with VU+ just putting it into the receiver. There should be ways getting it to work but i haven´t bothered with it.

I wonder if 11555V will be our missing multistream transponder for the TF1 (R6) and M6 (R4) multiplexes.

It's been carrying the "Fransat SD has stopped" info screens for over two months now and surely that can't go on for much longer!

It's a vertical transponder like the other terrestrial feeds (11591V and 12648V multistream) which is what makes me think it could be used.

11509 was the one carrying the channels now on 12648V, so presumably they've replaced all the legacy Newtec equipment for the R2 and R3 multiplexes with multistream equipment now!

Maybe we'll see 11509 switched back on with multistreams of the 11139 content ready for those to be phased out?

If this does happen then it seems I gave up waiting and bought a Fransat card/CAM a little too soon! :D

Berbère tv and audio copy appeared at 12564V so most likely Africa channels will follow it and there is a chance they turn off 12690V to replace it with something else...

I've tried PLS Gold and code 121212 like on 12648V with a couple of different stream IDs but I haven't had any luck!

Can see it briefly locking at 100% SNR like 12648 though! Hopefully we can find the PLS details soon! :D

This has surely GOT to be the elusive R4 and R6 TNT multiplexes!!

So looks like they're using the spare capacity (space for three multiplexes) for another copy of the France Télévisions feeds on 11591. Maybe we'll see those go encrypted for Fransat cards only eventually if all the transmitters end up using the multistream!

Thank you! :D

This locks fine for me in TVHeadend.

For some reason the SNR on my TBS6905 in TVHeadend fluctuates rapidly from 40%-70% whereas on 12648V it's constant at 100%! The "real" SNR must be similar to 12648V though as that breaks up if it's below 80% and that is DVB-S2 8PSK FEC: 8/9 the same.
