Taking television on the road usually means lugging along a separate video player, painstakingly positioning its antenna until you can make out faint shapes through the static, then holding your breath to avoid bumping the TV and losing your signal entirely. And with only a half-dozen channels even bothering to broadcast over the air anymore, it’s hardly worth all the effort. If separation anxiety has you hankering for full-channel access to your home cable line-up even when you’re on the road, sling that lame portable TV in the trash and get a Slingbox.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Ive still got a Casio 4" screen colour TV from five years ago. Runs off 3 AA batteries and works a treat everywhere Ive taken it so far.

Whats the deal?
