Getting 2D in Gothenburg, Sweden

Would someone be so kind as to offer me the complete guidance on how to receive broadcasts from Astra 2D in Gothenburg. I am at an elevation in the North West about 10 km out of town.
I would appreciate a complete description of the system; receiver, dish, Lnb, cable. etc.

I think most people in this forum would help, but I think you need to do some reading in this forum first. There are many threads for 2D in Gothenburg in this section. It will give you all the information you require.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have actually read past postings on this issue however was not able to find a conclusion like you have offered.

In the system 2, what is the make of the dish? And do I need 4 Lnbs? would they be any use on such a small dish?

Appologies for my tone...having a bad day as Liverpool lost!
What you see at the end of what I said is just my 'signature'. I use system 2 for canal+, viasat ect., and not for Sky. The dish size is far too small. Anyway the first system is what I require and use in the South of Sweden, although I do not get any of the Vertical channels. (no real loss right now). I think in Gothenburg you would need a dish size in the region of 1.5m diameter, if I remember from past posts correctly. www.astra2d.co.uk gives lots of info for you too, so try browsing there also. I think there aare many other threads of 2d in Gothenburg before, pls search in this forum...lots of more info available.
You need a receiver similar to mine, any Sky receiver will do for starters. Hope this is a little more helpful.
