Hi,

In my fascination in getting as many sats as I can, is it possible to get anything past 60e on Ku-band with a 100cm dish from SW Essex? I would like to have a go at 62e or anything up what's possible with the size of the dish, even if there's nothing worth watching.

Thanks.

I could easily get 68.5e on my Penta 85 and even briefly received 72.1e a good few years ago. 70e might also be doable.

The biggest problem is the elevation and line of sight. It really needs to be a clear view to the east and the signal is also quite variable due to constantly atmospheric conditions (the layer is much thicker at that elevation).

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Your issue will be a DiSEqC motor.
Then the receiver protocol.
But search , let us know.

I don't plan to do it with a motor. I have a 100cm dish centered at 52e with a LNB pointed at 46e at one end and another LNB at 60e at the other end using a multifeed ... hoping to add a LNB for 55e and another for 68.5e at the far end.

The pic shows the old setup (just 52e at the center and 60e on the left)

Hopefully it'll work.
