Good Hotbird Signal but No ART

Be patient with me as I'm quite new to this.

I have set up my dish to pick up Hotbird and am get between 70 and 80% signal and mid 90's quality.

I can pick up in excess of 500 TV channels but no ART Sport

I've got the Al Jazeera Sport 1 and 2 showing o.k. (via)

Where am I going wrong, have I missed a setting?

I am using a Televes 7254 receiver. On it's Sat list it says Hotbird 1-5, will I have to perform a software update?

Your list is a bit out of date
Unzip this file and open with notepad, then enter the new transponder frequencies manually into your reciever (there'll be an option in your menus somewhere) then do a rescan of the satellite. That'll do it, no need to do a firmware change at all.

I tried that list, thanks again, however still no ART.
I am seeing some more channels than I did previously but no ART.

Do you think it will be under a different name?

I am seing a test card for TKS1-7 or something?

Am I right in saying ART should be on 12015 H 27500 3/4, if so the receiver looks like it dips in signal and quality as it scans this part, however my allignment for Hotbird in general is great.

it can be awkward to get, yes 12015 h 27500, concentrate on that frequency.

Na! Still no joy.

Try a manual scan on just that transponder, and see if you can peak your antenna using that.

What size dish are you using, as you may need at least a 80cm dish as Art Sports can be a bit of a pig to pick up.
Can you pick up Iqraa - Arabesque on 12.015H, 27500 which is also on the same transponder and is free to air.
If you can than you should be able to get Art Sports.
