Any room for Keer`s head there. What was Elliot doing on the bench when we needed a Goal.

Have been saying this for years now, but the FA won't sack him cause it will cost them a fortune, and the Swede has no honor and will carry on to the end which is another three years, especially at £5 million a year.
We must be crazy.

If you sack sven who are you gonna replace him with? mclaren, allardyce, curbishley. all have done reasonable jobs at club level, but do you really think they could do it at international level? wenger is probably the best manager in the world at picking unknowns in the transfer market and turning them into superstars but unfortunately you don't have that luxury in international football as you only pick from what you are given. I know that you are gonna say that sven lacks passion but how often do you see Wenger, Benitez, Mourinho jumping up and down on side line?

I think its better for a manager to get up and let his players hear is voice from the touchline telling them they need to pull their socks up ? like England needed the other night

I don't think someone lik O neil is up for it. Also, not english..The last we want is England playing long ball...problem is, for this job we need a manager who has international experience. At this moment there isn't one available.

Gosh I must be stupid I thought most managers would give their right arm to manage the England team. Sounds like most of em will give their right arm not to manage the England team. :-doh!

Oy stop throwing things, I've already got two of my own O-Ha ({}) :D

Seems to be the modern way I agree but you never saw Bill Shankley get out of the dugout. He used to say Aye, I do the talking in the dressing room. Mind you a look from him could whither a player.

Different times then. Now you got a bunch of spoiled superstars who "loose their confidence" if things don't go their way after 20 minutes, and who have opinions on everything. Back in the 60ies, a player was just so much prouder to play for his country, I don't think he needed a lot of motivation.

I probably watched 90 or more % of England games ( on TV) since the early 90ies, I don't think I ever saw a gutless bunch of pu**ies play as bad as that. Almost as bad as Hoddle and Keegan, only now he got potentially much better players to choose from. the last 3 games are the worst stretch by far. He managed to get the heaviest defeat since I can't-remember-when and loose to NI, this should not have happened. No disrespect to NI, they played brilliantly with the material they have, but...

Sven goren roedeer on 5 mill a year ? There has to be some sort of brain damage going down at the FA headquartersO-Ha

My feeling is that sven goren roedeer is the secret president of some sordid miss whiplash and piggyride club down in soho and all these FA guys are avid members.
This is the only way that guy could get laid by that turkish delight and other femme fatales.

But back on the field guys im afraid england are kidding themselves when they claim to have several world class players..........

David Beckham - Cant sprint, Cant Dribble, Cant impose authority, average tackler, can cross the ball, can take great freekicks.
This guy is the most overated footballer ever.a total faux fashion hoax.
Steve Gerrard - Can sort of sprint, cant dribble, can impose authority, average tackler, can cross the ball, cant take free kicks.
Hes a player whos just above average but nothing special.
Frank Lampard - see steve gerrard
Ferdinand - just a greedy so and so and average defender
Owen - Great sprinter and goal scorer but thats all hes got, he needs others to feed him the correct ball or hes hopeless

Wayne Rooney - can sprint, can dribble, will impose authority, cant tackle, can cross the ball, can take free kicks, The only true world class player in england and this guy is worth paying to watch, cos if he aint turning on the style, then he implodes, and that is also entertainment.

Remember back in the 60s and 70s when England did spawn great entertaining stylish footballers, Rodney Marsh, Frannie Lee, Peter Osgood etc etc etc.

These guys could outskill and outplay and outentertain and wipe the floor with those overpaid overrated buffoons that are currently wearing england tops.
