DM500S does in fact support gotoXX. I used it for about three years, before moving on to dm7000. With DM7000 I never got gotoXX working.

And there is no such thing as a "zero satellite". At zero degrees the dish should point straight towards geographic south. In some cases there might be a satellite at that direction. For a good calculator, google for "gaaps".

Moved from the Idiot's Guide, which is not a discussion thread. I've amended the zero satellite text but I'm sure most Dreambox users can make the leap from my not quite right description of the zero position satellite :)
