Greek Nova Satellite

Hi,

I have got a Panasat IRD 700 in order to get a subscription satellite TV package from Greece called NOVA. The problem being that its getting a bit old now, and its time to get a new one. Can anybody tell me which good decoders would be compatible? I think its a Irdeto decoder that uses the Hotbird sat.

anything that has Irdeto 2 embedded or any receiver that can take a cam for the nova card

you could get a technomate 1500ci as that will read most official card's, cards including nova as it has a multicrypt card reader

Rite, so if i buy a technomate 1500ci and an Irdeto CAM - http://www.falconsat.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=81, then i should be ok?

you wont need a cam because the technomate has a card reader inbuilt

I would recommend a Manhattan Plaza ST 120 Iredto Access embedded. Cheap and cheerful and does what it says on the tin.

id recommend the technomate 1500CI+

i have fitted these for nova and work with no problems, also has the advantage that patches are available for this very well supported reciever
