I started to post some pictures and thoughts on this somewhere else, but I feel that this small project deserves to be separate as stay-alone. So, some time ago, friend of mine gave me 50L cylinder. I let all gas out, filled it with water, made some cuts, made table out of old sewing machine. I also have an idea to use pedal to pump air inside the grill, especially during the start of burning. Of course, I have normal grill to cook eat, but this one will be just for fun. It is "make something from nothing" project. I need to find some parts for continuation, such as handles, bigger wheels, design the way how to connect turbine to the pedal and the way how to distribute air inside the cylinder. I should also think about way how the ash will be removed after grilling. Painting is another issue: should I paint the cylinder, leave it as it is, or just remove any paint? Any thoughts or ideas (even crazy) are welcome.
