FYI guys I placed an order with AliExpress for this box which they have just cancelled due to lack of stock. A full refund is promised. So I have placed my order direct with GT Media. Its cost a bit more and its promised in 3-7 days. Will let you know what happens.

Mine jumped from "Plane taking off soon" to "Delivered" - nothing arrived, FFS, you could not make it up with these clowns

They are good Simon, got mine in less than a week..I'm dubious of some of these AliExpress sellers...Yodel did the delivery this end on a Saturday, no problems..

All these Asian resellers are doing is checking what’s selling, advertising the manufacturers wares on their site, placing an order with the manufacturer once you’ve parted with your cash and delivering on a drop ship basis in the hope that it’s still in stock.

Best off ordering direct from the manufacturer, pay the little extra instead of sitting there like a turkey waiting for Christmas.

They must be fake statuses to give off that placebo effect. Amazon reckon delivery is the 10th Dec . AliExpress would still be deciding whether or not to ship it or not . Haven't had a refund yet . But I'm sure it will arrive at some point, maybe January if I'm lucky. eBay seller refunded me quickly

Well this is one turkey who aint gettin gobbled at Xmas.
My GT Combo ordered from Banggood has been delivered, left next door in error earlier today and the neighbour just brought it round.

The neighbour brought it round earlier in the evening, only just got round to unpacking it.
I will probably flash it up some time over the weekend to give it a try out.

That was a reasonable delivery timeframe from Banggood, ordered on 26th November, delivered on 3rd December.

Plenty of Bangood for your buck so...I assume others will be wisely advised to follow a similar route. It’s proven now. The proof of the pudding is in the delivery

i guess its pot luck really - you may get it quickly, you may get it in 30 days or so, however, the point it is, you will receive it.
i think my aliexpress shipping outlet was the called "curry box store"

Short answer - Yes.
Obviously this is a non-professional bit of domestic kit that's doing a bit of 'Jack of all Trades' all in one box to try and please everybody , so for the price of well below £100 in the UK it's not too bad, but like every brand new product we the buying public are the guinea pigs to report the bugs etc - This quote from me on post #47 >> - "it's the simplicity of it to give you a rudimentary view of 4:2:2 , BISS, and fairly inexpensive cost of the machine that is probably the attraction for a lot of people to acquire this machine" <<.

What is your point? It is an external PSU which can be changed easily..The Technomates however, are internal and subject to failure, I speak from experience...
