Can someone provide us a signal report with GT COMBO in high frequencies of Eutelsat 7B.
In Octagon and amiko viper feeds are not watchable in gtmedia v8x they are just coming.
So i would be grateful for report signal for example in frequency 11.125H 3750 3/4 (S2) (Europe A beam)
Or during a feed in following frequencies: 12.704V 7200, 12.695V 7200, 12.727V 7200, 11.181V 7200.

Various here..........all frequencias apart from the Africa beam are well received with the GT Combo........excellent, sensitive tuner!

11125H 3750 working fine .When you ask a question like that you also need to ask where the test is done and with what sized dish. My location is in the West of England and I use a 1.2m CM dish and the LNB is an Octagon OSLO.

Hatters profile suggests Greece (though it is a large country) and a 2.4m dish.

No issues here with 12727 V on the 80cm, 11125 H and 11181 V are below lock, nothing on 12704 or 12695 though they will not be 24 hour active feeds.

@Channel Hopper the above pictures test signal is with the GTmedia GT COMBO ?
I am located in Southeastern Greece. Europe A beam and Europe B beams seems to have slight difference.
In B i have 99% signal quality.

Signal won't be better, the reception might.

If you can open up the V8X and take/post pictures of the board and tuner when you get time.

My Combo has lost the ability to scan for FreeView channels and put them in the correct order.

Additionally when looking for new channels under 'UK' settings the scan starts at 177MHz and is in 7MHz steps.

I have not cleared the combo down as there are many custom frequencies in there (playing round with different LNBs on the roof).

Additionally I had been using the Germany region for a scan a month ago as it covers Band 2 and 3 (DXing for terrestrial reception)

I've not found anything else out of the ordinary, pehaps it is time to master clear.

A quick scan through the terrestrial list and CH4 HD has no audio on the programmes, only the narrative channel (and adverts)

And after finding issues in FreeView HD channels early afternoon (break up and some loss of audio), the same appears to be happening on HD stuff on the satellite side, but I have only looked at Astra 2 for a few minutes.

Will check other satellites tonight/tomorrow but I will probably revert to 1.24 unless there is a fix I'm not familiar with.

What channel and how frequent . I can check this out

I looked at BBC1 HD on both terrestrial and satellite, powered down and up, same issuus after about 15m.

Legend (SD) is not currently with issues.

CH, tried v1.26 sunday night and to be honest, gave up!! Scanning terrestrial (TDT here) took forever and resulted in 24 TV/Radio channels less than previous firmware used. Several commands on the remote did not respond or responded erratically.
Thinking would try again today but after reading the adverse comments on the GTMedia Forum (Freesat.cn) decided to avoid........this was one comment made by a member there........ 'So far this has been the worst update they have released for the GTX and Combo.'

So sad, the receiver itself I personally think is good. I have two, one used on single fixed sat 28.2ºe because the Combo tuner is very very sensitive and in this respect performs better than other receivers I have.........we are very 'fringe' here especially with the U.K. beam and transition to HD only channels.
The other Combo I use only for feeds and def is a winner, fast blind scan, watchable 4:2:2 and yes, Bisto served as well, not a bad meal .........................With regard to the firmware I happily have tried, using USB method (not online) ,all updates and always returned to v1.17 as this on my setup performs near 100%. Not paying attention I inadvertently accepted upgrade up v1.24 and this version seems to work fine but not really deeply tested as only use for 28.2ºe.
Said many times by many members here and elsewhere that the GTMedia folk need to read and listen to users comments and thoroughly test before releasing updates.

Most that have bought the Combo are after the immediate perks, not the sensitivity nor the advanced function of the remote commands.

I will put the receiver back to 1.24 soon, the SF8008 will be in place before the weekend.
