I am a newby and I am not sure is the right place to post so please excuse me.
I need to ask few questions:
I live in the Maldives and would like to watch some satellite TV, I have a laptop with a Hauppauge WinTv digital terrestrial tv usb stick, is there a receiver that can be connected to this stick? Everybody here uses a kit produced by Airtel but they only have a normal (I suppose analog) output....
Any suggestions?
Thank you and hope to be able to solve this ......

There is no satellite receiver that will output a DVB-T signal. You need a USB satellite receiver.

Yes, I agree that seems to be your best option, unless your USB DTT unit has the facility to feed in a composite video signal, some do.

Yes its me!!
How are you??
Thank you for the info...
but internet here goes VVEEERRRYYY slowly..
I hope you get the time to come and visit.. say hello
to all your family...
I am desperately trying to get same feeds from any satellite..
although here is very nice for holidays, but living on an island 230 mts by 60 mts after 8 months could be "destabilizing".

Sorry for all of you guys for this familiar "chat" but I havent
spoken to this guy for years and is so amazing meeting him again on this forum!!!

Still think is possible to receive some free feeds???

the only thing I have here is a "satellite finder" and a compass!!!
