McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Sauber's Sergio Perez have both been handed three-place grid penalties for Sunday's inaugural Indian Grand Prix. The New Delhi stewards decided Hamilton and Perez had ignored double waved yellow flags during Practice One at the Buddh International Circuit on Friday morning. The Briton and Mexican were caught out right at the end of the session by flags prompted by Williams' Pastor Maldonado, who had stopped with an engine failure.
