November 2nd 1982 was a big day in British tv - the number of tv channels available increased to 4!

Heres a youtube clip of the big moment at 4.45pm. The music behind the images is called Fourscore and was composed by David Dundas

The spinning blocks used by C4 25 years ago are still some of the best idents ever done :D The continuity announced who does the intro is Paul Coia

Does anyone know if theres a decent quality version of Fourscore available anywhere? Ive got a 96kbps mono version buts is fairly ropey - ok for my phone ringtone though!

Dundas got £1000 a week for ten years from C4 for that theme. Not bad for four notes :-rofl2
