Further to the information about Pout TV let me provide some clarification. If you have an existing FTV card which is being switched off for ITV, C4 and five then you can get it replaced FREE via the website at www.pouttv.co.uk .... This will apparently only work if you still have access to the UK address that the original card was sent to because the new card will also be sent there (regardless of what address you enter during registration). Simply follow the procedure on the web site to sign up for their Pay Per View service. There is a £5 registration fee, however this will not be charged. The reason for this is that you registration will fail (after entry of the credit card #) when their system detects that you have entered an obsolete viewing card number. The cool thing is that it will result in SKY automatically sending you a new viwing card. As long as you don't then re-register with Pout using the new card, you pay nothing. The viewing card however works straight away just like your old card used to. If you cannot follow this procedure (e.g. because you have no card or you don't know it's "address") then there is an alternative ...... Apparently if you phone pout (number at www.pouttv.co.uk) and tell them you have a digibox but no card (say you just bought the digibox off ebay for example) then they will take your £5 and send you a new card. As long as you specify you want the Pay Per View service, you will never pay anything else. You do need a UK FORWARDING ADDRESS to do this. I think £5 (about €7,00) is pretty cheap for a viewing card offering ITV, C4 and five. Hope this provides clarity and illustrates you DON'T need to aggree to any contract, not even for 3 months with Pout.
