thanks so much for your help. Pardon my ignorance but what does Wild feed mean?( perhaps Free to Air?.)twag42 said:in order to subscribe you need a uk address,or get a card from one of the internet suppliers but these are very over-priced.best advice is to look for the football on some of the wild-feed channels.you'll find it,but it wont be advertised!! good luck!

Thanks alot. I appreciate your help. If I know that the channel I want is Setanta and it is on intelsat #5, am I able to get it unscrambled?twag42 said:if you buy the satellite entertainment guide and you look at the list of satellites and what the transponders are eg usa, showtime, hbo, wgn etc.wildfeed would be listed as occasional feed or video.the wild-feed is what the tv stations use for sporting events from another city, country etc and add their own commentary and commercials to.a good example of this in europe is the nbc-jay leno feed on sirius.nbc sends over the feed and its possible for the broadcasters here to edit it for their stations own use.its not fair really.the yanks get football and corry etc we get jay leno and conan o brien and basketball.scan through these occasional feed channels and youll find all kinds of goodies.when i lived in canada, thats how we watchede a lot of the hockey games.
