help needed by newbie

am new to this so would appreciate some help.I have an echolink reciever in my bar in spain and can pick up premieresportal for the footy but how do i recieve encrypted channels or has the guy who installed it done something so i receive this channel with no problems.Also my reiever only has a scart out put,is it possible to convert the if output to rf.thanks in advance for any help that may come my way,i certainly need it

Well you are not giving people a chance of answering as you are not providing any information, what model of echolink is it? is there a card? is there a cam? is it running an emulator? is he making you pay for updates, there is simply no information to be able to formulate a sensible response which I assume is what you want

sorry will give you as much info as i know.firstly i dont pay for updates,(didnt know it needs updates and i dont think the guy who installed it is that switched on either)I dont subscribe or anything like that.some channels are encrypted others arent, like the premeire on.as for the model it is an echolink 777 fta

Is it connected to the internet at all?

If it is then it is probably linked to a cardshare server in which case I doubt there is much you can do.

Or is it a re-broadcast receiver in which case they are being targetted by the government?

Your receiver is most probably patched which is why your receiving these channels.

Scart output from receiver is a better video/ Audio connection than RF.

If you want to use the rf to pump the feed somewhere else, then google 'Scart to rf adaptor' which will bring up several results

Get a motor and point your dish to 16east for digitabl channels
Also point to 1 west for canal sports and nova galaxie and eurosport 2
Then get a diablo cam and cas 3 programmer atapprox £120 and you will have all the football you will need
