So what encryption do sky use? Am I correct in thinking that no hack has been found for the UK?:confused
Why does freeview not use this protection?O-Ha

Does anyone thnink there will ever be a hack on the freeview?:rolleyes:

I'm afraid that you're correct, so far there has been no known (released) hack for Videoguard encryption, which is what Sky use.

Freeview is terrestrially broadcast and does not have any encryption to hack. If you mean the Free-To-View satellite channels on 28E then they are already in Videoguard.

Will there ever be hack? I certainly hope so but I'm not holding my breath waiting.
