Help with configuring extra box of my cline.

Hope someone can help me I have a cline from a pay server and want to be able to share the cline with a m8 of mine.

We both have dm 500's with latest gemini 4.40 i think and cccam 2.09.

My cline is like this : C: xxxxxxx.no-ip.org 12000 xxxxxxxxxuser xxxxxxxxxxpass yes { 0:0:2 }

Is this possible

Also if thats not possible would if be easier if i wanted to put two boxes in my own home.

I was reading in another thread about hops but tbh went straight over my head.

Hops

CCcam clients have the possibility to reshare their server connections. This feature is known as “cascading”, and works really well with CCcam. Let’s see how it works. For instance, we have 4 users or groups where the 1st one is directly linked to the 2nd one, the 2nd one is directly linked to the 3rd one, the 3rd one is directly linked to the 4th one.
The “cascading option” enables the 1st user or group to be linked with the 4th.

^ -------------------- 3 hops ------------------- ^
If box1 receive a key from box4 (procedure known as ECM), this key will go through 3 groups, which are known as HOPS.

In the following example, the client will have access to the server local cards, as well as those located 2 hops further

Therefore, if the server is located in box2, box1 will have access to box2 as well as box3 andbox4

Whether you are allowed to reshare is set by the F: on the payserver.

This is the syntax of a C: line:

O.k. does anybody know what lines tp put into either boxes i presume one is an F and the other a C

no m8 if he has you only on a share and no reshare the is no way of sharing why the hell would you pay for cccam when it is free software and these people are making money from the cccam team.

Briefly:

1. Setup a dyndns account or no-ip account if you don't have one. Install an updater on your PC or inadyn plugin on your Dreambox (try search).

1a. Configure port forwarding on your router (think it is port 12000 and 16001 from memory).

2. In your cccam.cfg add an F: line for your friend.

3. In your friend's cccam.cfg add a C: line with your server details (dyndns account) and the username/ password that you set up in the F: line

The file to edit is etc/cccam.cfg and back it up before editing it.

If you have a card in your Dreambox you can also test it with that. I haven't tried it but that's the theory.

Here you can configure inadyn:

This is based on Nabilo V0.8, but I'm sure it can be adapted to other images:

Time update: 600min.

Username: your login name you used to open your account at dyndns.com.
password: password for above.
Alias:yourhostname.dyndns.org (my host is with dyndns.org; so replace "dyndns.org" with your domain.
System: unticked. enter in the box your domain (in my case it was dyndns.org).

Then restart inadyn and check the log, it should report:
I:INADYN: Alias 'yourhostname.dyndns.org' to IP 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' updated successful.

Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your WAN ip address.

Note that the ',' and the '.' don't show very clearly so press the help button to see how the characters cycle when you press the keys.

In the cfg file of the client that wants to reshare will create an F line with user and have both the C line to connect to the first server and the F line to reshare from his box to other users?
